Nagpur: For the first time in Nagpur Municipal Corporation's (NMC) history, as many as 74 sportspersons, who distinguished themselves at national and international level competitions, have been provided financial assistance totalling Rs57.89 lakh.
Through the Udaan Sports Encouragement Scheme, the performers from Nagpur who participated and won medals at the national and international competitions were provided financial support, with the amount deposited into their bank accounts on Wednesday.
